Meet Allison
Allison C. Garrett (she/her/hers) leverages more than 10 years’ experience to provide a compliance and practical-based approach that connects state and federal legal requirements with business strategy and Human Resources practices. By weaving legal compliance into strategic initiatives and processes from the outset, resulting company efforts are set up for success – they are more targeted, more effective, and can seamlessly incorporate DEI.
Prior to founding Consult ACG LLC, Allison was an employment-defense litigator for 6 years. She represented employers of all sizes on a variety of labor and employment issues in California state and federal court, with particular interest in discrimination, retaliation and harassment matters, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.
Leaving litigation behind, Allison joined Qualcomm for more than 4 years to serve as the company’s U.S. reporting subject matter expert for federal contractor compliance. Her responsibilities included overseeing the company’s entire Affirmative Action Program (AAP), EEO-1, Vets-4212 and other reporting, along with developing corresponding DEI strategies and solutions. She carefully balanced business needs with legal compliance obligations, and empowered leaders, teams and employees by creating documented processes and procedures, as well as trainings and related training resources.
